Bubblingbrooks Journey - Salut!

I love it!!! I have the best pic of my 3rd. It's a black and white and all you see is the bottom of her feet.

:love

thank you for sharing those toes!!!

Baby has only cat napped briefly about 4 times over the last 9 hours.
:th
DH will not get home till 11:30 or so, and I know as soon as he picks her up, she will zonk out .

Needless to say, I have gotten next to nothing done today

And, I have resorted to the pacifier :(

A pacifier isn't necessarily an evil thing. Both of my kids had one, and both gave it up on their own by about 6 months. I hate to see a kid around 2, 3 years old (or even older!) w/one in their mouth.

I used a pacifier...I see no harm. It is much easier to lose a pacifier than a thumb!

Awww! I see no harm in pacifier until she gets her teeth & starts walking, which IME happen around the same time. There was a 3 year old in the store the other day TALKING with her pacifier in, that unacceptable.

But Katherine is only a month old, she still needs her soothing stuff :)

If a three-year-old has a pacifier, mom and dad are the ones who need some talking to.
They must be buying replacement models as a baby pacifier doesn't even fit a three year old's mouth.

I think I would be a bit concerned about the attachment issues with the pacifier. BB needs baby to attach to her, not the pacifier. IN her place I would also be using it as a "last" resort.

Aww, what a cute picture of yummy little toes. I am going to have to get a pic of Gbaby's toes now. ;)

Sorry about your G'ma. :hugs will send prayers that whatever happens is God's will and in her best interest. I am sure it is hard for you all.

At least you have baby girl to help keep your hearts and spirits up.

We use a pacifier for G'baby. He usually spits it out as soon as he falls asleep. When I babysit him, I find it hard to get much of anything done. Last thursday I managed to get one load of laundry in the washing machine, but not hung up. It was all I could do, to keep his bottle washed and his dirty diapers put in the laundry basket. :P At least I got to sit outside with him and enjoy the nice day and our animals.
I think people worry too much about pacifiers. Babies need their comfort and sometimes a pacifier or a thumb is what works. I don't know of any grown-ups who still use a pacifier or their thumb. At least they don't do so in public. So what is the harm.

Baby stayed up till after 11pm! She did eat extra yesterday as well, and then once DH got her asleep, she slept till 5 am!

She is eating and resting normally today. No pacifier needed :ya
And that means I am getting LOTS of stuff done today.
