Did I miss something? Farmer needs a membership to what? And why is the creamery so behind in paying him? I thought he was also part owner. What a mess!!

In order to utilize the legal defense fund, other then the brief advice I received, you have to be a member.
The fee is $250, and I hope the shareholders will pitch in $5 to $10 each.
The cooperative creamery has been chronically behind on paying the farmers they buy from. Rarely has the overdue pay been under $80,000, from what he has told me.
The lawyer asked why in the world they have not declared bankruptcy, but I am afraid that will not solve anything.
Milk is being sold cheap. Too cheap to sustain anything.

Not one person cooperated with the HD and filled out that misleading form.
As a result, they have informed the farmer that their recourse is to send word to all clinics and ERs to be extra vigilant for cases of Campy.

Its not right, but I am just a bit gleeful at their expense.

Wanna know why?
I was the head of food service at a fancy shmancy camp/conference center for several years just a few minutes north of here..
One day the HD came to do a inspection.
I am thankful to report he could find nothing to get me on.
So guess what he did? He very vocally made fun of our statement of faith and the verses we had on the walls.
He touched me, pulling on the tiny bit of hair that peaked out from my (religious) head covering along the hairline, telling me that I was not wearing the right stuff. It was a non work day, so naturally I was not vigilant about hair being in the kitchen.
And then he had the gall to sit IN my hand washing sink, telling me that I needed to treat that area extra special as if it was a toilet that was filthy.
The directors just about passed out when I relayed the goings ons.

If he had ever come back, I wanted to be prepared to hand him a head to toe hair net to wear while in MY kitchen
