I have a nice collection of cast iron buried somewhere in my house. Looking forward to finding it because right now I am just using whatever I can grab.

i've had the other one for about 10yrs now and while it doesn't get used very often, when it does get used i often think how much nicer it would be if i had another one so i don't have to play musical pans. i can heat up some sausage or whatever in the higher rimmed pan with a cover and then it will stay warm and cook when i'm making pancakes. it will work really nice for grilled cheese, etc. too.

Absolutely brilliant, ever so easy too cook with my pancakes, eggs and mushrooms were done to perfection.Please tell us what you think of Lodge Cast iron, after using it a while.

Find it quick. Once you use it you won't need other pans

Well... stressful bumpy road...Absolutely brilliant, ever easy too cook with and my pancakes, eggs and mushrooms were done to perfection.

But I sure am glad you finally got true cast iron. AND that it is working as it should.
