but will be over soon enough right! with a nice baby at the end of all of this! :)

Slept in this morning. 4 inches of new snow to clear out. Need to plan for tomorrow night's Cub Scout meeting and write my annual report for the Church annual meeting.

I fell asleep! DH just called to say they stayed for part of second service...and he woke me up.

So, if any of you busy SS'ers need me to take a nap for your I will gladly oblige!!

As long as I have my 'puter and internet I will not go insane!!!! All my friends live in there!!

Happy Sunday!! Glad to hear you are all doing well. Sorry about the snow. I am actually feeling a bit guilty. We have our Santa Anna winds for the next couple days. They blow in from the east over the desert and warm up on the way. It going to be close to 80 today and very dry.

My two girls have a cold, trying to dry out the congestion. DH is finishing the rabbit hutch. It is all done except for the roof. Just a bit longer for the sealer to dry. I'll get some pics later.

I guess I need to catch up on chores today. Take care!!! gina

ps Pam please take a nap for me, I was up at 5 this morning. :)

Who is hanging out??

Ok, lurkers come out and chat!!

DH picked up some sunflower seeds and a small rabbit feeder to mount inside the chicken coop. I think I read something in BYC about sunflower seeds increasing fertility and helping with feathering. So, hopefully my bird will like them.
I have decided to start keeping all the receipts from what we spend on chicken feed and accessories to see how much we actually spend on them in a year. I am going to try to write down how much we make on eggs, chicks, and pullets too. Just to see how far in the hole we end up every year!!! :lau Something tells me we will probably not come out in the positive since we eat most of the eggs ourselves.

That must be normal topic of conversation with chicken owners. We were trying to figure out if you really save money feeding birds to put in the freezer. How long does it actually take to feed out a chicken? 10 12 weeks? Pam, do you do meat birds?

I have an extra coop. It was my first and will hold a dozen birds comfortably. I was thinking I should learn to process. but is it worth it?

I guess I need to finish some project before I start another.

My 2 littles stayed the night at MIL's. DH went to bed around 9pm and the older three boys went to bed at 11 pm but, that had been playing PS2 so it has been quiet here for a couple of hours. It should be super quiet tomorrow with the 2 littles being at MIL's.
