LOVE Christmas gospel music and wished they sang it all year round!
DITTO!!! Banjo + Christmas music = aaahhhhhhhh, wonderful!

I enjoy decorating the Christmas tree, and looking at the colorful lights while sitting in the dark; also with the house lights on just enough to read by, love doing our Advent devotion this way.

I enjoy Christmas carols/hymns, and am looking forward to singing all of those in church in the coming weeks, and also in the community - our church choir is singing at the "Christmas Lighting" ceremony in town, and our local school system opens up the band/chorus Christmas concert to anyone in the community who wishes to participate.

I HATE that it's so commercialized and Christmas stuff is in the stores before candy day is over with. There is a holiday called THANKSGIVING, during which I GIVE THANKS - for my family, my God, and this country I live in - and I intend to celebrate it first, thank you very much.

Yeah Abi, but you never refused a present I gave you at Christmas! And you are a big baking geek. (Maybe she just likes an excuse to play with pumpkin and cranberry :D )
YOU don't give me gifts out of obligation ;)

Also I'm greedy as all get out. Gimme gimme. I just don't participate. But I'll take if you give.

*beams*

It's my charm.

I DO love the sales on food.

I also think 16th street mall with its cobblestone streets and horse drawn carriages are amazing with the white christmas lights and a snowfall.

I love Christmas! Love it , love it , love it! I give affectionate tokens all year long. Some people , that makes uncomfortable. Christmas makes it much more comfortable for them to accept something I have worked hard to make or thought hard for a gift truly from the heart.

I am a harpist and there is no equal to Christmas music for the harp.

I absolutely love religious rites and traditions of all kinds. I am another pagan, but whenever I can, though it doesn't look like it this year, I attend traditional Christmas mass.

This is my first year out in the sticks. We only go to town about once a month now. No TV, no radio. While I will miss the heavy commercialism this year, I will also miss how kind and giving this time of year makes people.

We have a yearly tradition. Since our wedding anniversary is in December, we go out to eat. We decide on another party in the restaurant that looks like they could use some random kindness and general good will and pay for their meal. We tip our server lavishly and sneak out before they realize their meal has been covered. Some might think that our money is better spent on a charity ( we do the giving tree every year too ) But in the words of my sweet husband " kindness is contagious. Maybe it will encourage them to let someone out of a tight spot in a parking space. Or if they are the paranoid sort, it will at the very least make them wonder and give them a good story for their family gathering"
