Just getting "started" -- initial wake up -- moving slow, careful, on auto pilot. :old standard morning routine gets you to the kitchen and coffee. Ahhhhh, finally things begin to work, hands, legs, mind. At some point you think "what's today gonna bring?"

Good morning all. 😄 Hope your morning fog clears, too. I'm coming together -- another cup of get up juice and I'll be functional again.. I'll read my note to me, written last night, so I know what to do. Let's hear it for us elders still at large. 🥳🥳🤣👍

Finished coffee, need to get dressed and get outside before it rains again. Got one inch yesterday and another storm coming in at noon. In other news, my washing machine is on the blink. It doesn't spin all the water out, so it starts the rinse/spin cycle all over again. Clothes are too wet to put in the dryer, not wet enough to wring out. I hang them on the line to dry enough to go in the dryer, but rains are not helping with that. Guess I'll be getting a new washing machine.

Dang....didn't your dryer die not toooo long ago? And AC .... And heater issues? Don't hold your breath but, is frig ok? :hide

All my "stuff" is pushing at 25 y/o. Hoping the older, better made holds a while longer!!! Not only do I not want the bill but, newer isn't better now.

So horribly sucks...

Every so often I have to have one of my sons replace the motor on my washer...

Luckily, last time I bought one, it was about 25 bucks.

I have a washer with an easy to access filter. The old one we had to take off the front panel in order to get to the filter.

When the kids were little I had to clean out that filter once a month... now it gets cleaned out only maybe twice a year...NO IDEA why an easy access filter isn't standard!

My point.... if it isn't spinning out all the water... it might just need a new motor....

But, if you do buy a new washer, make sure you get one with an easy access filter.

Have I mentioned lately how much I dislike these critters?
