The large dogtrot cabin serves as a museum, according to the article. I'd love to go there when it's actually open and get pix. Hmmm, will have to look into that!

I hope I'm not typing that ^ too soon, but I got the gate finished with no aggravation from the buggers! While I was taking the short "chicken-blockers" down from the fruit trees I noticed baby peaches!!! Will get pix later this afternoon.

A funny on myself:

I came in to grab the package of zip ties so I can make chicken blockers for the soft-sided sheds' zipperer doors but didn't see them where I was sure that I'd left them. Decided I'd take a quick break and type in my progress only to hear the package krinkle when I sat down!

It just hit 87 here! Guess we'll have to change the names of our redbud, dogwood and blackberries winters to summers...

I almost did that with my glasses this morning!! :/ But they don't "krinkle" when you sit on them!

Found out this afternoon: Dogs don't "crinkle" either when you sit down on them!:/

Just came in from sitting around the fire pit and what a good fire it was! We burned the last hang-nail (hangin' there waiting to nail me)/widow(er) maker on one of the "corner post" trees at the garden! That booger had been hanging there since June 2009 when we bought the place. Good bye, good riddance and may your ahes soon make our garden soil grow stonger!

Still 66 degrees here...Arkansas is calling Lost & Found hoping to find Spring.

Dawn you are killing me with these pics!! I am so wanting a camera!! Bubba waking up Doc looks like the way my Sole used to wake me up! He's so old he can't jump up on the bed anymore.
