My family visited DH's parents today. They are getting along okay. MIL is declining, but less rapidly. FIL seems to be less stressed in general, and more confident in the kitchen.

DH is struggling to find weather for making hay. It's overdue to be cut and the quality is declining. Worried about lodging now.

I have plans to get a kitten today! She is from a client. We got to talking about cat training and kittens and she has a litter ready to go today. Of course I didn't tell my family about it.

I got the kitten. And chicks! Kitten is in training to live in the chicken coop. The chicks are in guinea pig cage brooders, kitten is loose in the coop. DS9 has been visiting her every hour. Our goal is 4 hoyrs of holding, petting, etc daily. Plus car rides, going to the pet store, farm store, and vet clinic. And training. She's taking to crate training already.

I got buff orpingtons, some Easter Eggers for DS9 and 4 guinea fowl.

I have been busy cleaning and decluttering. I'm working on my studio first. It's 3/4 done. 7 trash bags, 2-3 donate bags
