Me too! I especially like succulents that have reddish or orange colors!

DH surprised me by butchering 4 roosters today. I am grooming a dog today, so I can't can them. I suspect DH is going to freeze them - or maybe try deep frying one.

DS10 seems to be making progress towards learning how to study a learning target. He doesn't like being told what to learn. I'm happy he's in a situation where he has no good option but to follow directions. He is much more agreeable. I suspect a family movie night coming on. He has been wanting to watch Elf.

I'm down to 5 dozen eggs in the fridge.

@NH Homesteader I went out to check on the hens and picked a dozen eggs! I did not miss picking eggs yesterday! Wow. I can handle 8 per day, but ... I sell one dozen per week. But I haven't had to resort to giving eggs to DH's and my parents yet.

Homemade eggnog is AMAZING, btw. Nothing like the nasty stuff from the store. I'm going to get chubby.

Yea - my old birds need to be dog food. They're pretty, but pretty doesn't lay eggs.
