I got an egg!!!!! I didn't think I'd get any until spring, but today when I checked on my chickens b4 I left, I just happened to notice it! I hope that they'll start laying more now. I don't want to have to buy any more.

Today, I'll admit that once I got home from work, I ate lunch (grilled cheese and tomato soup), then crashed. I was still exhausted. And, next Wednesday is when the next big system is supposed to hit. As of right now, they don't know what it's going to do, rain, snow or a mix.

And we're supposed to get another bad system this week. I did get my Baker's Creek catalog. Maybe what I need to do is order my seeds. Then that way, it will FEEL like spring is almost here. If the ground hog predicts 6 more weeks of winter on Wednesday, I think I'm going to want to go round up that ground hog and have me some ground hog stew.

Hehe, you're starting to sound like us here!!! I've already ordered my seeds, I think it's more frustrating to have the seeds and not be able to do anything with them...

We have our BIG BOX of seeds in the basement right now. I just like sweet corn seed and all is well.

And, I got another one today!

Hubby is started to get more interested in making our own. I had told him I wanted to make sausage and bacon. His response? Yeah, right. Today, we saw part of a TV show, Kill it, Cook it, Eat it. We had never heard of it b4, but from what I can figure out, it's been on for awhile. Anyway, in today's episode, they killed some pigs. I immediately thought of OFG and her pigventures. Then, they showed how they make cheap sausage. Believe me, it was an eye opener! Result? Now HE wants to make bacon and sausage!
