Last night, I couldn't sleep again, I was in just too much pain and I couldn't get comfortable. So, I got up, found my pain pills, took 2 of them and went to sleep. That's the best night's sleep I've had in awhile!
This morning was the monthly bird walk. I wasn't sure if I would be able to do the whole thing. And, the person I was getting the sleds from was going to be near there, so we made arrangements to meet at the post office. I figured that way, I wouldn't overdo the walking. So, I turned around after we'd been out for a bit and went back. I was getting tired anyway, so I didn't mind. It took me longer to walk back to my truck than I was expecting. But, I made it and actually had to wait a couple of minutes for her. Then, I headed back to the nature center. It didn't take me as long as I was expecting to get the sleds and I knew about where they'd be on the walk. There was a parking lot right there, so that's where I headed. And, sure enough, there they were. So, I parked the truck and joined in for the last little bit, then went back to my truck and drove to the nature center. Had the kids for nature club, and head to the farm.
Once again, I found the cat in my tack shed. But, I don't know if it got in there overnight, or when someone opened the door this morning to let Cindy out. I'll be able to tell tomorrow morning. If it gets in again, I'll have to wait until Monday to do anything else. And, once again, I had to go in the field to get Stormy. But, it wasn't as hard to walk in.
Got him fed, took care of the chickens, bagged some feed, put him away, took care of the cats and left.
Once home, I fed the goats and checked on the bunnies and brought some wood in. Then, I heated up some of my turkey noodle soup, and relaxed in front of the fire while I ate it.
I now feel like I put in a 12 hour day. I'm tired, but it's a good tired. At this rate, hopefully it won't be too much longer until I'm able to get back to normal.
