All I got when I clicked on the link was some real estate company.
The problems w/the house I posted are as follows:
1. No basement
2. Needs a new heater. Truthfully, I'd get rid of the pellet stove-can't stand them, put in a woodstove and electric baseboard heat. I'm used to that, and I know what to expect in bills, as well as how to keep the bill down.
3. It tends to be a bit wet. It's not too far from the farm, so I'm thinking it has the same type of soil-a lot of clay!
But yet at the same time, we could afford it. I know what the barn is like-I knew the person who used to own it-it has a big garage, and I'd be out of here. Hubby has allergy problems where we live-I think he's allergic to all the oaks in the area, and there's not a lot of oaks around here. And, I wouldn't need to spend hardly anything in gas, I'd be able to use my same hay guy, vet, farrier, etc. Maybe I'll mention it to hubby tonight. He has to pick me up, DS's car still isn't running, I can't ride my bike, DS needed a car today, so he dropped me off at the farm this morning. So, until DH gets here, I'm stuck!

I see on the link it also says it needs a new septic system - depending on reg's, those can go well over $10KDenim Deb said:
We passed up several beautiful properties because of the back end costs - the county they were in passed several new regulations, requiring above ground septic's (ave, $18K in that area) and, no matter the present condition, new wells!! Just something you might want to check into. 
My first thought, seeing that house, was Ahhhh! They put the house on the back of the property! No way would I want to plow that driveway! Sorry, I'm a Yankee in deep snow country, it's a conditioned response

W/the cats, I prefer everything at the back. It makes it so there's less chance of them going out to the road. I did mention it to the hubby tonight. And, you could tell he was thinking about it.
SSD, the new septic is the biggest drawback for me. I don't know how much it would cost. Plus, I'm not sure what the regulations are on the number of horses. I don't know if it would make a difference that mine are all small.

I never even thought of that! Here, it is 3 acres per 'large' animal (horses/cows/etc) I think, 5 goats per 3 acres (the key being 3 acres, apparently 
although I've seen people with less acreage have several horses on it ). Our next door neighbor has 8 1/2 acres, and two horses. Never asked if that was the limit for her or for the township. I realize it would be difficult, but wish they'd go on a case-by-case basis for these things - there is a huge difference between a small horse and a draft horse, for example! I guess we may end up in trouble then, if we continue with our plans :/ We would have 2 cows (which are not even equal to one, full size!), two pigs and 10 chickens, which I *think* we'd be expected to have about 8 acres for! Although, if they use common sense, and calculate our cows in the same manner as goats, we'd only need about 6 acres. Hmmmm.... Probably should check the reg's about it, but hate to draw attention to myself...

I tried finding the regulations for the township, but had no luck. But, I do know the person who used to live there had at least 3 horses.

that flat out refused to let 'townfolk' see the regs!! If you asked, they said there were no 'copies for viewing'. We broke several of them though, and they always managed to scrounge up a copy of the page where the particular law/regulation for our infraction could be found DH said, if we did it enough, we'd have a complete copy 
Sometimes things are listed with your county, have you checked there?
It seems that, around here, if nobody complains, you're alright. So long as they (county/twnshp) aren't desperate for money, we may be OK. Of-course, our neighbors also know that we could only be ratted out by one of them - all our animals are hidden from view, completely, so we'd know who did it

That's how it is here, too. People break the regulations for the township all the time. In fact, I think most people don't even know they're doing it! Others don't care.

This morning I woke up-on my left shoulder! Not good. The past 2 nights, I kept trying to roll over on it in my sleep, and the pain woke me up. Last night, it didn't. Plus my knee was hurting. And, I couldn't sit around and do nothing. I hadn't picked my field all weekend long, so I had to do that. It took me almost 3 full carts! Plus, I got all the loose stuff out of Misty's stall. And, I used a fork to loosen up a bunch of the old stuff in Licky's stall. Then, I used my right hand to shovel it, plastered my left elbow to my side, and used my left arm just to stabilize the fork. Felt like I had stepped back in time since this is how I did thing for years until I had that shoulder operated on. Once I had the cart filled for the 3rd time, I dumped it. Then other than sweeping my tack shed, I took it easy.
I tried to take a nap. But, at least 3 of CL's dogs decided that in front of my tack shed was a good place to take a nap. Then, they got upset at something and started to bark. And, when she first got there, 1 went in my field and started to chase my horses.
I've said something to her B4 about it and all she says is to yell at them. I shouldn't have to.
I think I'm going to call the realtor about that house. It won't hurt to look at it, and see what I can find out. I've been praying more and more about moving, and getting more and more dissatisfied w/the situation as it is. This will, at the very least, make me feel like I'm doing something constructive.
