He got 'er done. The problem that he had was finding the replacement motor. Most places around here don't sell to homeowners, just to repair guys. But after doing some calling around, he found one for sale.
In spite of the mixed up day, I was able to get quite a bit done. At home, I cleaned the bedroom, did dishes, and put away some laundry from last week. I also washed a load of coats and hung them out on the line. Then I had to run out to the farm and feed, plus I had to go and buy feed and lime. Once I had the morning chores done, I went back home. It was late when I left for the farm, and late when I got back home. I did some more housework (cleaned part of the living room), then left for my appointments. (Hubby said he didn't need me.) I was able to run errands. The only place I didn't make it was Lowes. I wanted to get some furring strips. I just didn't have time.
From there, I headed back to the farm and got Stormy fed, put out hay, bagged feed, and took care of the chickens. I'll be so glad when I don't have to worry about rounding up chicks any more. It would be so much easier if I could round everyone up in the evening instead. Got home, fed the goats, got the laundry down, gave Thumper some greens and dumped the compost bucket. Then I got changed and went for a motorcycle run. Coming home, I was seeing lightening. So I made sure I hadn't left anything out I didn't want to get wet, then got a shower. We did get some rain, but it wasn't too bad out there. I'm hoping to get to bed soon.
