My easter eggers are Privett Hatchery ameraucana. Most of the feed stores here get their birds from that hat hatchery. So I can't say how other hatchery's birds are.
Calm friendly birds that match my purebred ameraucana in temperament. Get along fine with silkies even.
In their youth they averaged 5 to 6 eggs a week each so good layers. Only hatchery birds I've had that didn't get health issues. I was actually looking for more this spring but they always sell out fast.
