I went out and propped the door open for the older hens,
this was last night when they finally [after I made them] came into the coop. they didnt want to due to the set up of the brooder and the chicks, they are not liking this at all.

BUT!
the chicks did fine, I saw everyone breathing, the temp was 79/80 and they were not piled on each other. This is good. This is how they were at ??11pm or what ever time it was I went out last night to check them.

I pray this day goes easy.
I have laundry that needs done and some lite housekeeping.

I hold them sideways with one hand under the faucet, just the butt by a tiny stream of warm water. My fingers are in the water to direct the water and I carefully work it off. Dry well with paper towel. They fluff back up quick, even under mama.
