My mom has problems with the preservative that lettuce is often washed in, she has to thoroughly wash any greens that she gets from the store. I'm lazy and don't bother (probably should) when I do buy them from the store, but I'd rather grow them! I need to get better about that part, too!

First things first. I am re-engaging as a volunteer with the youth organization I have been part of for a long time. Just spent 6 hours the past 2 days updating/upgrading the website. I need a positive outlet for the brain that is running at 100 mph.

Ha! Mowed the grass today. First time in over 6 years. Boy am, i out of shape.
Chicken, strip loin, and ground chuck are on sale at various local stores. Put up several batches of my ad-hoc (no recipe written down) Italian meatballs, grilled about a dozen chicken breasts to dice up for soup/tacos/etc, cutting up the loins tomorrow. Oh, and 6 pounds of peppers sliced up and in the freezer.
