Dozens of buzzards loitering on the breeze above the overflow outlet at Paint Creek Reservoir. I have never seen anything like this before

I did a little research, those buzzards may be migrating south. Central Ohio is a migration pathway.

I had no idea that buzzards came south for the winter. If my goats don't start behavin' those buzzards might get to come here for a free meal, lol!

No one told my buzzards to travel!! . Why? They deserve to be included!!!!! Go, buzzard, go.

it seems that they hang around here all winter, perhaps because there are dead deer available.

We will get groups like that occasionally. Will see them on a couple tree limbs, then most will be gone in a day or 2. Unfortunately we can't seem to get rid of the black Mexican buzzards... They are killers, not just clean up crews.
