Sad to not have the turnip kraut recipe...but STILL happy for you! That'll be great to have her handwritten recipes!

I hope so! I plan on growing some turnips!! that would be a welcome recipe in this house for sure!! :D :D :D

First, went out to take care of the hens this morning, and I smelled something burning in the smaller coop. A frantic search located no evidence of the wood burning or even charred.... :hu then I look on the heat lamp itself and it see a patch of smouldering feathers. :hu Then I spot my RIR, Collette, with no large tail feathers and a darkly singed set of feathers on her stubby tail. :he

a key member of my project team is quitting to move to Texas with his wife - he knew about this for 3 months, but never told anyone until the last minute... :he

then at school, DS gets his big toe broken by a PITB classmate who was just goofing around. Either a cast or boot tomorrow, depending on what the ortho doc says. Just in time for summer sports conditioning to start

...and it's snowing again...

Thanks everyone. DW is now threatening him  ....he won't rest on the coach with his foot elevated. Just 4 hours and he is bored silly....

Yikes!!!

Just a thought, but did you have your son's vitamin D level tested? Proper D level will help the healing and prevent other breaks....cuz boys don't get any smarter until they are at least 39

:gig

KIDDING!

It's 37 :D
