Farmfresh City Homesteader - the sound of falling oaks.

Me, too! Still stuff in the garden, so I haven't pulled everything up yet. There are a zillion little peppers still growing, mostly hot varieties, so if I play my cards right and get them just before a big frost, I will ferment them all whole.

I was just out in the garden yesterday Everything is so green. Usually we have such heat in Sept that everything dies. This year it has been cool and drizzly for the past month. Except for the 3 days at 110. Crazy weather.

Great job on the chickens. I am so ready to feed out some for the freezer. How cold can those birds stand to be? If someone wanted them on range like you do? I guess I should probably wait until spring.

have a great day!!

Ps my dh and I went to visit his Grandpa yesterday. He is originally form Germany, I took him some home made sauerkraut. My dh basically told him we were probably moving next year. To Mo. :ep
I told my dh on the drive home to stop messing with me. The anxiety is killing me. He said "its not if we are going but when". :clap

It just does no get that cold here really. I was thinking of building some kind of tractor. Cover part for shade/ shelter. Then move it once a week or as needed. Hummm... I think the only problems would be wind and rain. But you have to figure we don't usually get our rain until Feb, March. Hummm ...

Now I am a thinking..

Gorgeous, smart AND loyal!!! You can't beat that combination! I would be very curious to have seen the events unfold!
