Favorite Homesteading sites or shows on Youtube or on the internet.

freecabinporn.com

Before the mods delete this, it is simply interesting pictures of cabins.

Beware, a lot of the pictures are large and the pages take some time to load, well, on my connection anyway.

I got kind of hooked on Wartime Farm and Wartime Kitchen and Garden, both series on YouTube.

Pretty interesting things about how things were done during WW2 in Britain.

I am with CountryKat, and have little interest in regular TV. Thanks for all the good suggestions for stuff to watch online. I especially am interested in Marianne's endorsements for Wartime Farm and Wartime Kitchen and Garden since I love 1940s victory gardens and vintage stuff. I am off to look those up. Hope you have a lovely Saturday.

Here's yet a couple other good homesteading-oriented Youtube channels:

Homestead Acres
(The video topics are mainly on homesteading techniques - heavy emphasis on food growing and prepration, some on equipment like woodheaters, snowblowers, etc. No B.S. - lots of solid info.)

Here's the URL for the list & thumbnails for the many videos they've already put up:

Then there's this - lots of vids on tree culture, food topics, gardens, with an international perspective:
Mr. Grizzer Bear's channel

Urban gardening/farming too, not just rural... bees, esthetic aspects, permaculture, etc.

Here's another really good Youtube channel. This fellow (and sometimes his wife) share knowledge and know-how about forest stewardhip and woodcutting, timber-frame building, food storage and preparation, blacksmithing, outdoor equipment, etc.

The channel is called Wranglerstar, and the web address is:

There are a few good youtube posts/videos by a fella from down under that goes by the name of RobBob I found him by looking for chicken feeders and chicken watering nipples(no wise cracks here haha) he also has videos on worm farming and aquaculture/aquaponics raising green perch.
