$6 gets me one of those huge plastic bottles that hold like a quart of bay leaves at one of the Asian stores. I probably need to replace it. Whats left is a couple years old now. I don't nornally buy herbs and spices at grocery stores. If I do it's bulk at Winco. Prices for bottles is highway robberyJust reminding all -- shop well.
I wanted a supply of fresh bay leaves. The McC bottle was $4.69, .12 oz, many broken leaves. Went to the ethnic section of this groc store (I use this variety often) and bought .20 oz for $1.19, nice whole leaves in a small cellophane (?) bag.
A small item, others available in that line. Heck, if I could save that much on others items, I'd be rich.
