Gas prices up. Jobs added... ZERO. Dow is down 200. Happy Friday everyone! :p
Weren't we told not too long ago that this would be the "new normal"? Three green energy companies that got stimulus money went belly up recently, too.

*sighs* Growth cannot continue forever, which is why they "bubble". We are just returning to homeostasis. *grumbles at policy people mucking up the pretty science of economics with b.s.*

my stock market picks are doing very well

in hard times you look for the profits....it is the best anyone can do and fingers crossed you are a winner LOL

worse thing in my country area....our jobs are either very well paid (and those are few) and very low average pay.

if you are one with a good paying job and get laid off or they close---then you almost can not expect to get that type of paying job again. so it is very hard decision to move or cut severely back to save it all.

worse thing is to live on 'all your paycheck'. Dad always said live a bit below your means so if hard times hit you can survive. it is so true and so many are in those boat right now.
