We have a whole bunch of chicken of the woods mushrooms DH and his friend found... now what to do with them. ..

Interesting, although the picture of the lambsquarters didn't look like the plants I have that I thought were lambsquarters... the shape of the leaves is right, but our plants have a powdery white coating on the young leaves, and on the underside of the mature leaves, and the stems aren't red like the picture. Maybe I should take mine in for a more definite identification....
They also didn't mention burdock and purslane and pigroot which is a wild form of amaranth.

Britesea I would love to know more about eatable weeds. My Amish neighbors pick purslane and say its good for weight loss with many health benefits I'm sure there are many common weeds that can eaten and probably delicious
