Thanks for the prayers and good wishes! This buyer did not end up working out but I feel totally at peace with that. So we've got our appointment rescheduled with our realtor. As OFG would say... Onward and upward!

but how great that you already had a good lead!?!? sounds like you are well priced and have a great place to offer. one good buyer is better than a crazy one, for sure... so maybe its better that way.

when i sold my house i had two crazy people and that was a disaster - better they didnt waste your time.

the right person could be driving by...right.... now...

Celebrated MyT Man's b-day with homemade strawberry/rhubarb pie and ice cream with the neighbors. They treated us to fresh picked peaches as a thank you for helping them out with a couple of small chores today. Yummy!
 
Strawberry/rhubarb pie is my DH's favorite! lol I accidently let slip in front of him that my Better Home and Gardens cookbook has a recipe to make it ....and now he's not shut up about getting one :lol:
 
I always fill mine too full & it bubbles over so don't forget to put a cookie sheet or something under it to keep your oven clean!
 
Quick notes on progress :P before a day of cleaning today.
Battery on car died about 2 weeks ago got it exchanged under warranty. Wash machine quit last weekend.
Altenator on car bad middle of this week... new battery not holding charge. Results in me driving MyT Man's 1980 Chevy LUV with 250,000 miles and no air conditioning or radio or shocks or vent and a penchant for being "tempermental" to work for 3 days. Picking up car this morning and investigating why they decided to do additional work without calling for permission or to consult with me which added $150 to the bill :he :somad

Today, scrub all tile and grout. Wash drywall dust from remodeling off of walls. Wash all trim, and windows. Vacuum, dust, entire house. Scrub bathroom top to bottom. Make piles for trash, goodwill, and craigslist. Trim all garden boxes and fence. Touch up paint walls, trim, and corner braces on outdoor fence.

Tomorrow, rearrange all furniture for staging the house. Weed the garden and front flower beds, mow the lawn.

Monday, meet with realtor to complete listing.
