Happy Birthday to DH! He hit the ripe old age of 63 today...where did the time go...geeze.
So, I'm not really screwing up the healthy eating plan, but we're gonna eat good tonight anyway. I've got ribeyes in the oven in the beginning step of the reverse sear. I've already made a Caprese salad. And, the seafood mkt had some wild caught lobster tails so I grabbed those too. And I splurged and got us a dessert (I know, I know!) But, it's a "gourmet" frozen yogurt bar that only has 100 calories and 16 carbs. Prolly taste like crap, lol! But, it's still a pretty decent meal and really low carb so I'm not gonna worry about it too much. I've been getting close to 7000 steps for the last couple days, but not today...
Too busy cooking, but I'm at 5000 so far. Probably get a few more - but no where near 10000. I'm gonna make a big effort to hit that tomorrow. Guess I'll have to go to the bathroom a lot, lol! Our college is old and the bathrooms are spaced out. In fact, we have to go outside to access a bathroom. Sucks big time in the winter cuz we literally walk through a wind tunnel to reach the closest one...brrrr. So, if I go to one at the far end of the horseshoe it's a quarter mile round trip. Yep - true! If I go to the bathroom about 20 times....

Geeze, wish I had something exciting to talk about - but I got nothing...
We've been getting some rain. Enough finally, after spits and sputters all week, to have standing water on the ground. Great - here come the parasites...
Got another big batch of produce from the pantry. Probably 50 lbs of carrots, about 30 lbs of onions and a whole bunch of smooshy bananas. Pigs like bananas, lol. Who knew? But, I guess I'm not surprised - they ARE pigs.
Got over 8K steps today! Yippie! Might get on the treadmill - might not. I'm watching the Texas v. Cowboys game so it might be dangerous to get on the treadmill. I could fall off when we score again!

And, today I got about 60 more lbs of food pantry reject bananas. Oh my! Pigs are loving life right now.
