We're not going to cut the boar we just bought. We're going to feed him good, and when the sow is bred, he's sausage.

Mr. Chopper is starting to put on a little weight, now that I de-wormed him. I feed him 16% swine pellets twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening. What he doesn't eat the chickens finish off.

That's good to hear! Remember to follow up with the dewormer after 10 days or so, to kill any new worms that may have hatched since the first dose.

Am I weird for watching Mr. Chopper walking and looking at the size of his hams (rear leg thighs)? And thinking about just how delicious they could taste. Then looking at his belly and seeing bacon? Is this weird or what?

I found out he doesn't like the Weed Wacker. He flipped out and ran fast to get as far away from it as he could. And I was thinking no don't run... You'll make my hams tough -:lol

Is it true a happy pig makes tasty meat?
