Your dosage is 0.003g (gram) per 2.2 lbs body weight... Weigh Miss Pork Chop first, then work out more or less how much of the meds to give her.

Check that bit in the grey part at the bottom.. Overdosing pregnant ruminants had no adverse effects, which makes me think going a little bit over the required dosage for her shouldn't be a problem, as long as you get it more or less ballpark.

And that dewormer is popular for use in chickens by the way ;) I believe the liquid one is used most though.

What Sumi said- yes you do need a weight. When she gets to the point when you can't pick her up (or if you want to save your back), this is how to estimate a pig's weight. Might not be totally accurate with a pot belly because... Well because of that belly!

@NH Homesteader that is super handy! I wish I knew that when I had pigs still. With me it always a guess and anxious wait to see what the carcass weight was going to be.

I'm neurotic about taping them... I'm so bummed, my gilt's father was, at best guess, 1000 lbs. And our friend sold him without taping him first. I wanted proof!!! Lol of course it's a guesstimate but it's a good way to get an idea.

The biggest I butchered weighed exactly 100kg hanging carcass (minus the head and other bits). That is… about 220 lbs?

Trying to wrap my head about 5x that now…

Yeah he had to go... He got to the point where he could pick up the hog panels, post and all, and go wherever he wanted. Not safe when you have young kids, not to mention another boar in a separate pen that would sorely lose in that fight.
