Hillfarm - good news, thank heavens.

taking son in the morning to test his glucose. His great uncle died of sudden onset juvenile diabetes. My son is showing symptoms.
Hes very very thirsty, even at night. He pees constantly, even in the night. Hes cranky and always way over eating, yet not gaining weight. We think he's actually lost weight.

ughh. Better to test adn know than worry more and not know. Here is to hoping he is just extra hungry and thirsty because of the heat.

Wish him luck and will update tomorrow eve, hopefully with lots of good news.

Hoping everything works out well. :fl Just glad you're taking him in and find out.

Hoping for the best for your son! Does he have fruity breath? My youngest son was diagnosed at age 1, it can be done. He is now 16 and taking care of himself. My prayers are with you.

I hope you find out what is happening with your son!! That is scary :(

Back from doc. His levels were too high. So a longer fasting test in the morning. He does not have sugar in his urine. YAY. But other results concerned her, so she will go over the results with me tomorrow, after he does the glucose test.
He was so brave when they stuck him with the needles. He and dad nearly passed out fromthe gore of it going threw the tube. LOL. I found that entertaining. Wimps.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts.

I rudely didnt say that earlier. My brain is prone to jumps in focus as of late.
