Since when does disagreeing and having a different opinion classify as self-righteousness? Does her opinion on the matter make you feel that insecure?

I guess I looked at it like a book - instead of buying a book, she is borrowing one from a library, so to speak. Thus decreasing the amounts of plastics produced, etc. etc.
