Yesterday was out first beach day of the year

All of last year I did not even take off my shirt, I was embarrassed of not only being a little overweight, but the fact that my belly had not seen the sun... it was super white and that just makes the extra LBS stand out even more....so all summer it was shorts and a tank at the beach.

Yesterday I wore a cute little bikini.

My 16 yr old DD and her friend were watching me put on some sunscreen, and said how great I looked....then I heard them say 'you have a huge butt?' (I do?) ....they laughed and said 'NO! you have a CUTE butt.'

Wow, 16 yr old girls admiring my backside. I am feelin' good......

So just to encourage all of you trying to lose a few lbs.....it can be done!

I am officially down two sizes, and am seriously thinking of getting a bikini, strictly so my tummy can get some colour. but not for public viewing at the beach, just my pool. although we do goto the beach, we can't really swim in lake Erie, due to the E. coli levels.
