These are wonderful ideas!!! I think I am going to do the big thing and let it go, no matter how much I'd really rather just smack her in the head! A few years ago, she was borrowing money from family like no bodys business. It's strange how she somehow forgot how she was more needy than I am at this time! We havent borrowed anything and the state doesn't help us at all! It's me and him all the way! I think that's something to be proud of and we are extremely proud of that!!!!!!!! Thanks for letting me vent!

I am glad that you are just going to let it go because she probably really did mean well....sometimes we open our mouths with the best of intentions and things just don't come out right.
You could point her in my direction! A milk cow is at the top of my list if she wants to help out!

i would have had the overwhelming urge to say "you're probably going to need to squirrel that money away for when you declare bankruptcy from all the credit card debt and large living." i PROBABLY would have been able to stop myself from actually saying it, but i'm not totally sure about that...
