Yes, I am so happy!! I squatted down to talk to him, and he came over, and leaned his head on my arm. My poor baby....I think he knows I am trying to help him...and he appreciates it. This is a small step....but at least he is drinking!!! I think the cold water feels good on his sore mouth.

If their mouths are like people mouths, its painful but it heals pretty fast. That poor thing has had a rough couple of days! I think drinking water is a really good sign.

Yay! Poor guy. Have you tried the yogurt too? It might help him get his energy back up if he doesn't feel like chewing anything. I hope he continues to show improvement!

delia.....funny you should say that. Just this evening...I feel feverish..and sore. I guess the stress is getting to both of us.! I will be OK, nothing a little Ibuprofin cant take care of. Im more worried for my boy....he cant tell me where it hurts, or how bad.
I know...in my heart... St. Francis of Assisi...the Patron saint of animals...is looking down on my Sonny Boy.

Great news! I'm so happy for you, Just! I wish my sheep were as loving as Sonny....they only seem to like me if I have food in my hand! I wish they would love up on me like your Sonny.....
