Oh, love, it's only just beginning.

My once quiet and loving 1/2 nubian 1/2 ober first freshener is reminding me on a daily basis that I stole her babies from her. From about 6 am - 6 pm she screams her head off.

I just scream right back.

It's quite amuzing now.

Loved the story about Betsy. Hope she adjusts to her new place soon. How's the milking going?

Yes, that's my biggest fear that this is only the beginning of many fun filled events.

Milking is actually going really well. It's insane how much extra work an extra goat adds. It's like they work together or something! But Betsy's adjusting nicely now the longer she's here.

We've had to change a few things around in the barn as they have figured a few things out and we had to goat proof it. And we're putting up the first sections of fencing this weekend that will allow them to graze alone more safely. We're buying it in sections b/c its so darn $$ and we're fencing in a rather large area. Right now we're spending time with them outside everyday to give them grazing time while we do our chores. So it'll be really nice when we can turn them out and then go do other things.

Today I watched Betsy standing on her hind legs trying to push over a small sapling she wanted to eat but couldn't push it over herself. So who comes up behind her and proceeds to jump on her back until they knock the tree over together??? You guessed it Emily!!

Well it seems that I unknowingly broke a rule on the forums by a posting that I made. Just wanted to apologize to anyone that found it offensive and to the mods for creating more unneccessary work for them.

After more research I have discovered that those posts are more suited for a journal setting. So that it where I will keep them from now on. I just based my assumption on where that post would be appropriate by reading other threads of that nature and they had been posted there. So again, I apologize. I do not like to cause trouble and it seems I may have done so. Sorry!

Thanks miss_thenorth. I just felt the need to apologize for unknowingly creating an issue, not my beliefs. Based on other threads that have been made in the past I didn't think it would be an issue.

Thanks. That is what I thought everyone could do if they didn't agree with it or have anything to add. There have been several religious posts/threads in the past that I have not agreed with. But I tried to just ignore them and move on since I didn't have anything helpful to really add to them, not that I was always successful I guess. Oh well. Moving on now. Methinks I will get myself into more trouble if I continue.
