On the foot of Mt Rainier
The county is working on the 2 lane highway that runs on the edge of our property on the other side of the railroad tracks. They are replacing the culvert on the stream that runs under it with a bigger one that will help fish movement. They sent us a letter about it 2 years ago so they could get our permission to walk downstream and make environmental assessments. Finally work begins this coming Monday after another week delay.

So we should have more fish in the pond eventually. We have part of the pond on our property so fishing is available for us. I'm actually happier that it will help with the stream health and hopefully make it better for the native crawfish. Then I might actually get some traps for them.

I swear I'm going to eat a few beaver. The rodents eat my trees.
