livin' on the funny farm- SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well we got our warm up, now we have another problem... our yard is a flooded swamp! i keep thinking if i look hard enough i will see some gaters out there! all the local creeks are out of their banks and the thawing has just started! and we have chances of precipitation all week! *sigh*
 
muddy here. but warmer for a few days! :woot i let my geese out and they are loving it. i cant get them back in the barn. i just hope the owls dont bother them.

next weekend is the exotic animal sale in kalona.:bun and i get to go. AND i should have some money. they have some mini highlander cows and a bull consigned. but they will be WAY out of my price range! and some mini dexter cows and bulls (all yearlings). but it only costs $5.00 to look (entry fee). lots of rabbits and some chinnchillas consigned too. the list of consignments grows everyday. your not supposed to take pics but i will try to sneek some. ;)

well time to check on lunch...

we were just down at his house BSing and talkin bout dogs and mules and fishing in his lake this year. he was laughing and joking.
 
these are the signs i made yesterday:

the bottom one has hooks to hang keys or leashes on. they measure 12" by 4" i am asking $5.00 for the plain ones and $8.00 for the one with hooks. does everyone think those are fair prices?
 
Sounds about what something like that would go for around here.
