Mandieg4 - Update and lots of new pics of kids and animals.

DONT TOUCH OR BOTHER. Just let em be.........they will be fine. :D

They can stay in for 72 hours after hatch and still be fine.

Thanks! Where is the sweat wiping smiley? I have a feeling I'm not going to get much sleep the next couple nights. I'm worried about the dogs getting curious with all the peeping going one so I have them locked up in the bedroom and the door to the bathroom where the incubator is shut. I just hope I don't let them out of the bedroom in a sleep induced fog in the middle of the night.

 You can relax ;) My dogs just go whimper and cock their heads at that peeping styrofoam box :) Hopefully things will go very well with the hatch. The first one will make ya a nervous wreck though :lau Have fun! :jumpy :jumpy

Deep breath and as soon as they're done hatching, the very most important thing you can do is...

Pictures!!! :D

I heard something early this evening and I honestly thought one of the kids had snuck in a couple of the new babies I got from the feed store the other day. But I only heard it twice for a brief moment and then I didn't hear anything again. I went to bed and my oldest came running in my bedroom saying that one of the eggs broke. I came running down the hall thinking that one had exploded. It never crossed my mind that they would be hatching already. I sure was glad to find a cheeping egg piping rather than a stinky mess. :P

We're up to three babies hatched now. My humidity is up to 91% and the window is almost completely fogged up. Is that normal?

Yes, cuz when the eggs hatch all the wet stuff inside comes out and bumps up your humidity. They only do it to aggravate you by preventing you from seeing them well LOL but don't try to clean the window off unless it is dripping severely on them or something like htat.

Enjoy :),
