Cool! How hard is the import process? Or since it's eggs, is it not a big deal?

Yeah. I would be interested in doing that. Got a new incubator Im just dying to break in.

X2 - what they said! I've never looked into the process but I'm sure it's different for Ireland than the US.

I believe that to ship hatching eggs legally in US, the flock must be NPIP certified if the eggs cross state lines.

I wonder if same regs apply if shipping "eating" eggs? ;)

So you have to be NPIP certified to get eggs from overseas? Thats a bummer.

One of the reasons that some who sell fertile hatching eggs require you to pick up. Many are small flocks & they don't want to go the inspections, etc.

Getting eggs here from England is pretty straightforward. Getting them from the States is a giant PITA unfortunately. I did look into that briefly. I wonder how sending eggs to the States from here would work...

Ive looked online for hatching eggs. Not many varieties to choose from.
