What's wrong with naturally grown organic corn dogs?

Monsanto name might be dead, but the evil behind it persists. When Monsanto was still independant, many farmers bought their seeds from them. If they were caught saving seeds to plant next year, Monsanto sued them. Many farmers lost eveything they had.
Sometimes competing farmers would turn them in.
Now that Bayer owns the company, dont expect any changes. The same practices used before will still be used. People who dont know how to grow thier own food are going to be sorry they dont know how.

Another issue is that many don't even know how many chemicals go onto/into our food, as it grows or is processed. For them is isn't "processed" it is "prepared" so all they do is heat & eat.

I see it every weekend when I am working food demos. So, so many just do not know how to cook from scratch -- then add grow it and pick it......no way. For them, corn dogs are fine eating. When I make salads, dressings, salsas, they can't BELIEVE I cut that fruit and veggie myself. :p Really?

Many will ask sodium or sugar content BECAUSE they have such health issues and doctors have them following that but not much else. Shame! Other nutritional factors need to be taught. Sadly, that is life for many now. Food can cause &/or cure many health issues. :caf

We were picking wild plums off the fence row across from our place yesterday, neighbor walked over to chat. He told us we could pick off some other trees right down the fence. Only problem with that, those trees are persimmons. Poor dummy, he would shortly starve if the food train ever got cut off.

People don’t know jacksh!t about real living.

I urge you all to do business with seed companies that support OSSI. If you don't want to wait for a catalog, you can order on line, Check out Fedco Seeds. They have boycotted Monsanto for years, have the source of all their seeds listed at the bottom of each variety description. Many of their varieties are OP. And they support small local seed suppliers, as well as encouraging independent breeding efforts.

Well -- I have a lot of seeds!! Some ordered from many of the mentioned suppliers -- some bought at 5 cent a pkg from clearance. Also have plenty of starter pots..clearance again..as well as some 6 oz cardboard type coffee cups left from samplings. We just toss them out but, I saved these to pot. You can cut them off easily o plant. FREEE! Sure have enough composted manure/stall cleanouts, etc. Just waiting on -- WEATHER!! Working to increase a little cold frame set up on south side of my house. I can get a lot in there...want more. :D

I may not have as good germination with older seed but, plenty to spare and save $$. They have been stored well, so it will all be good. :old HUGE selection here....almost a catalog full  It's scary, actually!

Me too - lots of seeds... too many if you ask my DH, lol! Just can't stop myself from getting a few new ones every year though.

A girl can never have too many seeds. My DIL says I need an intervention. I've had decent germination from tomato seeds that are 9 years old! This, with no special storage. I can't pass a rack of seeds without stopping to browse. Those 5 cent packets are SO PRETTY!!!!!! Then, there's the seeds I save: from my own garden, as well as some produce from the store.
