Ok, temporary verdict on the offending hen.
We ankle banded her, so we know which one she is....then, turned her loose to free range. Now, IF she survives the fox, 2 labs, 1 young dog, and hawks....she is free to do what ever it is a game fowl does...free range. If the others manage to escape....(sometimes they do), we'll still know which one she is.....and not let her back into the coop.
We just are ready to cull yet. That takes a while, and all that prep. Too bad I just can't toss her sorry butt in the freezer and prepare her later..
