We get ours from the neighbors or grab them out of the village recycling bins when we can reach them. Ask around and you'll probably have more than you know what to do with. WE use them in the bottom of chick brooders and under the cat litter box. You could check with a school too- a lot get a classroom set of papers and you could get a bunch with 1 visit (I know, I deliver newspapers).
