Those pics make me want to cry. They are beautiful and I can almost taste the flavor!!!! I wish we had had rain this year.

like when one of the turkeys broke a wing. i went to pieces after trying to splint the darn thing for 2 hours with no luck. i was blubbering on the bathroom floor, sure the turkey was a goner. my dad (who i'd called for advice) told me to just put it back in the pen and watch it for a day before i made any decisions. sure enough, that silly turkey acted like it didn't have a care in the world. and now, a couple months later, it's flying.

*coughs*

I used to spend hours on BYC and every disease and emergency their birds had, I was sure mine were dying of also. I guess I was not a chicken addict but a chicken hypochondriac. Finally, Gary said, "Would you just stay off that computer and let those chickens be chickens!"

Vinegar, honey....vinegar!!!! Next time use latex gloves!!!

Olive oil or Veg. oil. put it on like soap and rub it around. It will neutralize and disipate the pepper oils which is causing the burning. Actually it doesn't neutralize it it dilutes it. Nothing else will actually dilute it to stop the burning faster
