I also had someone who raises chickens tell me that it depends on the feed as to what color eggs they lay!

I have had people at church argue with me that no chicken lays a green egg and we MUST have dyed them. Um, how do you dye eggs and they're still raw?

Well, I cropped Plummy's ears because I couldn't afford a Doberman and wanted a LGD so I just took out the sharpest scissors and turned her into a LGG (livestock guardian goat.) She looks quite fierce. Very intimidating.

You need a chicken cam in the nesting box showing those green eggs emerging from the chicken's .....well, from the chicken.

I used to work or a veterinarian who described it this way. "Birds poop, pee, lay eggs and have sex all out of the same hole."
