I have a new dog coming, free, via plane, and he is a "liver" because they call them that color, and he is fat and he didn't have a name so we started calling him the Fat Liver, poor dog. His real name is actually Henry.

But he was literally too big for the space they thought he could fit on the plane, in the passenger seat next to the pilot.

OK, that's the second conversation I've heard today about those movies. note to self: must watch the Hangover if the kids are ever out of the house...
Looks like some Weather is headed your way but I think it's going to miss me.

Ed Helms is so freaking funny watching The Hangover just about killed me because I laughed so hard.

I've never heard of it. Is it one of those movies that I'll stare at in confusion and ask you to explain all the parts at which you laugh?

I think I would only have to explain about a 1/3 of them. There is some good slapstick you would have no trouble figuring out.

and just as an aside, you gotta love a place where you can get a card, rat bait, and hog chow all in one stop.

I agree ofg! Next to the feed co-op, I love the local grocer in our area. The store is a grocer/gun-knife/deer station shopping extravaganza. They have everything. Although I admit it took me a while to get used to the fish bait/lures above the frozen veg!

wow - we what happened to our sunny and low humidity!?!!? its like a swamp out there already.

yesterday was the Day of Useless Driving. we drove all over 3 counties for basically no reason - at $4/gallon. sheesh! we were supposed to get some bee supplies....and the folks forgot to leave them for us. so we went home empty handed.

the best news of the day was that we had a 'carry in' dinner at church! we totally forgot! so it was fried chicken and corn pudding lovingly made by the older ladies. it was spectacular.

and

they had cake and such to honor the graduates - none of them bad walmart cakes... this was the real McCoy! made by a little bakery of much repute in this end of the world. i made TBM go up and get me another - ha!

in other news its work work work and more work. i've already been outside once and now i'm fried egg sandwich powered and headed out for more.

I am getting ready to get out there as well. I know...its late. I noticed my little green beans are up and growing!! Woohoo! Now I need to make a mad dash to get the fencing up for them. Also need to get the cages on the tomato's and get fencing up for the lima beans. I better get going before its TOO hot! UGH!
