thanks WifeZ! hee hee hee yep amish paradise is a fav - 2nd only to White and Nerdy (thats me and i love Donny O in the background).

it make it even MORE hilarious for us is that the Amish around us are a VERY strict order... very very very strict. so seeing that was pretty darn shocking. the craziest thing we've seen is a younger couple driving their buggy too fast - obviously on some kind of "date."

spinners on the buggy would be totally fly... great idea Lori!

maybe the next hip urban and superfly buggy we will see will be lifted with a 4x4 kit and a "Fear This" bumper sticker?

NCL - there is a menonite family that comes to our farmers market. she is with the order but the husband and one of the teen boys is not. he dresses respectfully but i nearly choked when i saw him pull out a cell phone. maybe he's calling that kid in the barn? hee hee hee

i keep telling my hubby that i'd totally join them if they would let me wear shorts, drink tequila, and swear like a sailor.

what the HECK is going on in my yard!?!

first we had the whole fox thing on saturday.. then this morning i went running out there, dogs blazin, when the turkeys started making that weird pipping noise and..

.. nothing too odd... just a turkey hen outside the fenced in yard.. sometimes they get out... then i noticed...

THATS NOT MY TURKEY!

we had a wild hen show up! we saw a trio once before. three wild turkeys were lined up on the outside of the fence, in full display...and all our turkeys were lined up on the inside of the fence, in full display... and they were all screaming at each other.

but this hen was completely alone.. i'm wondering if Foxy Brown got the rest of them?? of if she wants to join our crew.. hum.... could be interesting. we followed her for a bit then the dogs spooked her and she flew (like an eagle!) into the trees.

there is some crazy stuff going on out there....

oh. and the bad neighbors have had their radio on for four days. straight. day and night. no they werent axe murdered... they just have the radio on. grrrr...
