Ohiofarmgirl'sAdventuresinTheGoodLand-where ya been? whatcha been doin

What a bummer OFG....

Did you run out there, overalls half on cause you were doing the bidness and wave your arms around like a freak?

That'd make the story funny....at least for me!

Seriously, though, what a shame. I sure hope you can recover from that!

i keep going out there. yep. its still mowed down.

dang

and nope i didnt catch him in the act. but when i saw him yesterday he mumbled something about "helping us." i didnt think about it until today and then i ran out there. ugh.

definitely need a moat.

i'm gonna start getting the guineas up really really early. uggh!

i gotta go and look again.

I know it is not the same at all but this reminds me of when we had a guy tending to our yard several years ago.

I had these two huge gorgeous white Iceberg rose bushes that were absolutely loaded down with flowers and were taller that me. I tended them daily, deadheading, trimming leaves, talking to them, watering....they were my pride and joy. All of my neighbors admired these two rosebushes.

One day I stepped outside and to my complete shock and horror my gorgeous rose bushes had been sheered down to half their height. He just hacked off the entire top half of the bush. I cried. I kept going out and looking at them, I could not stop myself....it was very painful.

:hugs

Why in the world did they do that? KN had a neighbor dig out her azalea bushes a few years back. What's w/these neighbors that think they need to do something to your yard?

We actually PAID this guy to take care of our yard! He was only allowed to mow the lawn after this event. I was so livid I could not figure out for the life of me what he was thinking....he said that the rose bush was hanging over the walkway so he thought he should trim it. :smack

So sorry OFG. :hugs The poor old guy should know better than that.

ps Dace Mayo cake is fabolous, moist and chocolaty heaven.. It was a staple when I was young. Just think eggs and oil already mixed for you. ;)

Karen,

It's like a car wreck on the highway. No one really want to see the devastation and destruction but you just have to look.

:(
