yeah... The Warden is The Big Man. he's been giving me the business about staying inside and on the couch. sheesh. but i snapped my beans outside with the dogs. we sat on the hill looking down at the pond - it was great. the dogs have been smelling all the smells lately - there something very interesting somewhere way over there - lots of noses in the air.

i'm rallying tho. and while i hate to admit it, i'm glad that i stayed inside today. mostly.

SunS - i laughed... you are exactly right. pretty much i've been eating yogurt (and ick - cereal! blech!).

I think the posse is keeping an eye on you. They report to the warden if you try to overdo. So drink up and get rest. You'll be swilling tequila and being your axe-toting Bad A$$ self again when this bug is gone. We'll tell the Warden that laying around the pond is still resting.

Did ya hear that Warden, er... Big Man. Vitamin D comes from sunshine and helps the immune system- so she'll get better. She needs pond therapy.

so how fun is this - i walked by the incubator and...nothing interesting...walked by 5 mins later after hearing a commotion and... another chick! whooot! he must have kung fu fought his way out! he even flipped himself on his back. talk about a vigorous chick! so that makes a total of 4. little blessings but each one counts. so yay!

we got a "tropical downpour" from a storm last nite - must have rained 2 inches in a hour so everything is soggy. some of my corn was crushed down! so kind of a bummer but wow what a rain.

we're working (slow) inside today.

I'm working mostly inside, too. But running. Got a lot done so far! MUCH more to do, the list is never ending.

Yay on the chicks! One day those four will mean many, many meals, if a couple are layers and a couple are stew. Meanwhile, cuteness overload!
