Ohiofarmgirl'sAdventuresinTheGoodLand-where ya been? whatcha been doin

holy sun spots batman! ok my stupid wireless router is all wonkadoodle right now.

but here's something........

we have more ducks! my silly little micro garage duck.... hatched babies.

um. we got rid of them drakes a while ago so who the heck knows how THAT happened. i just let her set to keep her busy. hee hee hee they are as cute as the dickens for sure.

so Java, you want a whole bucket of them, right?
;-)

ha!

ok hopefully my interweb will work today. if not i'm heading out for a big day of weeding and wait for it.... even MORE fencing work! it never ends.

looks like i wont get my dog moat right away. we figured out that if we ran the remaining fence along the pondside we could connect both side of our property (turkeys and pigs on one side, goats and hens on the other)... and way to let the waterfowl get to the pond without letting Kai swim around all day. so i guess we have a goose moat instead of a dog moat. hum. i'm good with that too.

today its not even going to be 80* - and some of our leaves fell off and i swear this morning was just like fall.

thats the report. and no i'm still not looking at anything called an easywean - altho i'm sure its exactly what i need. ha! what i DONT need is a charge on my credit card that says "easywean" .... oh golly... if that wouldnt put me on a watch list i dont know what would. and heaven help me if i get some weird ads generated by that phrase. ha!

happy monday!
:-)

But you MUST look at that photo.....I opened it several times just to get the belly laugh again.

Happy monday! Heh, you could still put up the dog moat later, right?

awww!! surprise babies are always the best! and i'm not even going to ask what breed and if you can ship because i can't have any more and no no no :D easywean is funny!! who knew calves and kids could have that kind of bling! :D

If your goats are all dehorned, you can put a halter on the doeling and fashion a weaning thingywhatsit like the ones made for foals and attach it to the halter. That would cure the doe VERY FAST! It is traditionally a leather pad that hangs from the noseband of the halter and has sharp (but not too sharp, you don't want the udder ripped up the first time she makes a dive for it) tacks or something pointy sticking out from the leather. Even dull pointy sticks would work, like twigs sharpened with a pencil sharpener but the points slightly dulled.

Fix yer dern routie thingie and post those baby duck pictures NOW missy!!!

:D

(I lubs me sum babi ducks!)

1. i aint lookin!
2. the babies are micro 'scovies! could you just die?
3. they are the cutest babies we've ever had... i'll take my camera out with me.

;-)

Geeze, maybe sunspots are what's messin' up my internet too. Had the cable guy out (and he was the best one ever!) and he fixed a bunch of stuff and laid a new line to the pole, etc. Said that if we still have problems to replace the router. Okie dokie, I can do that.

:D I do not want any more ducks. I'm still a little bummed about losing Fran...which I haven't publicly admitted yet... So - my beautiful Fran got killed last week :hit Raccoon, I think. My fault for not locking them up at night.

wait...what kind of ducks are they? :hide ETA: I missed it the first time I read through... micro scovies...hmmm.

no...you keep them. DH would have a fit. I'm still working on getting a buckling and he isn't taking the hint. Or he's totally ignoring the hint

I had to go to the mall. Back to school shopping. Darn kids keep growing :)

It's a beautiful day but I need a nap.

*laughing* I'm surprised I haven't seen ads on your blog about weanin' lol.

maybe we should all type EASY WEAN a lot and see what ads generate?

I don't know what Gods or Goddesses I have working in my favor, but I don't get the ads anymore at all. Oh No, now, I've alerted someone and they'll flip that switch and they'll be back again. :hit
