I am going to cut the piece that I do have into strips and alternate it with the pink fabric to make the skirt.

I just took a break to eat some homemade pizza.
Time to get back to sewing!!

UGH...I got DD's top done and then I did not like it so I took it apart. Now I have to reattach the skirt part. I have the pants all cut out I just need sew them and do the ruffles for the pants.

YAY!! I finally finished 4 yo DD's Flamingo outfit!! I actually finished sewing about 10:45 but then I decided to add some hotfix crystals to the outfit...32 of them! I aslo used metallic thread for the hems to give it some sparkle too! Both outfits turned out super cute!!
Hopefully I can get some pictures posted tomorrow!

The only thing I didn't get done though are the accessories...necklace, bracelet, and hairbow.

Ugh!! I just need to vent!! My local Post Office lady is PURPOSEFULLY going to with hold one of my boxes from being shipped out!! I got to the PO at 4:35 she already had her draw closed out (said she closes it out at 4) so she could not take debit/credit cards so I had to go dig $6 worth of change out of my change cup...then she would not take a Canadian nickel so I had to go get another one out. All the while she was throwing a tantrum saying that I came to the PO to late that she closes at 5 and she is NOT going to send my package out that is clearly marked LIVE because she has other packages to put the postage on and mail!! All she has to do is scan the barcode and sit it in the back room! She was really ticking me off with her little rant about not sending my package out so I said "Standing here arguing with me certainly isn't going to get your work done now is it?" and that shut her right up!!
It is just now 5pm exactly and I am already all the way home!!
The sign on the door even says all packages must be in the door by 4:45...I was there at 4:35!!!

I am sorry to hear your post office lady is a meanie. I do how ever want to tell yo that the outfit you made for you daughter was adorable. I hope the rest of your night is going better.

I did call the Post office this morning and complain about the postal worker at my local po for refusing to ship out my package. I checked the DC# and they have it as being received in their office this morning at 8:32. So she did purposefully make my package sit all night at the po rather than shipping it out even though I was there before 4:45!! ugh!!
