Chicken math at its finest.... I started out the year 17 chickens now I have 41!! I hatched out 7, 7, and then 10. (2 of which were turkeys.) It did not seem like much at a time because the hatches seemed so small and disappointing. I am hoping my DH does learn how to do chicken :fl because then he would know how many chickens we really have!
 
Oh my! I just signed my DH up for the C&CW course at my church. I am taking a different course next month. I can not believe how many people at my church either have or are getting their C&CW!! A word of warning: If you are disgruntled and decide to go on a rampage at my church it will take them a week to count all the holes in ya!! :ep

Found out yesterday at church that our first softball game is this Sunday!!


I am also waiting to hear if a really good friend of mine son has the H1N1 flu or not! He just came back from Texas and was pretty sick. They said he would get the results today. They sent him home and did not keep him in the hospital yesterday.
 
:lau My mom and I are getting our CCW....my mom just got her holster and gun yesterday. The holster is so tight that she can not easily get her gun out so she looks like Barnie Fife everytime she tries to draw it out!! :gig

It wasn't loaded. All of the bullets were in a box on the bed.

We (my dad and I...as well as my mom) were laughing so hard just watching her try to pull it out of the holster. We were making fun of her telling her that she was going to have to tell the bad guy to hold on while she tries to get the gun out. She was tucking it under her shirt and when she lifted her shirt to get the gun out you could see her bra...so I told her she could just scare a bad guy away when she lifted her shirt!! LOL!!
 
She could always keep it in her purse like Dolly Parton in 9 to 5 and "change him from a rooster to a hen with one shot!" :lol:
