I just can't stand things unfinished. Plus it's gardening season and camping season! Ready to have the house settled so I can go relax by the river in my hammock before I have to start canning!

I'm super excited about my new Excalibur food dehydrator that came today! Ready for some homemade beef and deer jerky!
Any newbie advice?? I want to do veggies and fruit too.

Well those darn boxes are calling. Going to see if I can tackle one or two more before calling it a night.

I got a dehydrator (cheap model) from Walmart a couple of years ago and so far I've only dried veggies. Tomatoes being favorite. When I finally get rabbits I would love to try some rabbit jerky. The thing I like is it goes from a big amount to a very small amount.
